Welcome to the Stampin Friends Blog Hop!

Welcome to the Stampin Friends Blog Hop!

This month’s theme is Favorites! If you are following along the hop, you have arrived from Katja Ettig blog.
Be sure to read through my blog, comment below and continue to Kim Quades blog.
If you get lost along the way, you can find a list of Blog Hoppers at the end of each Blog.

Here are the projects I created for this month’s hop, since the hop is all about favorites I thought I would showcase my Favorite from Stampin' Up!, Magnolia Lane Suite!  I used this suite for all the things needed for my Wedding: Invitations, Favors, Centerpieces and a 12x12 Scrapbook spread.

So let's get started!

Here is my Wedding Invitation:

  • Card Base: I used the Magnolia Lane Large Specialty Memories & More Cards & Envelopes for the base. This made prepping so much easier.
  • Stamp Sets: Magnolia Blooms Stamp Set and Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set
  • Ink: Momento Black/Colored Pencils
  • Stock: Whisper White, Vellum
  • Accessories: Magnolia Memory Dies, Heart Punch, Silver Metallic Thread, Sequins

Here is a view of the inside of the card.

I actually had two favors, one for the men and one for the women.  Here's the one for the women.  A mini calendar that can be hung any where in the home or office.

  • The base is a wooden cut out 3.25" x 5".  I drilled two holes in the top corners so I could string some hemp twine to create a loop.
  • I covered it with a piece of Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper.
  • Then I made a paper magnolia flower using the Magnolia Memories Die Set.
  • And the phrase comes from Good Morning Magnolia.

Lastly, I made a 12"x12" Scrapbook Spread to add to my Wedding Scrapbook Album.

Here's the recipe for the pages:

  1.  Spread Base: Whisper White
  2.  Patterned paper is the Magnolia Lane Designer Series Paper.
  3.  All the flowers were stamped and colored and either die cut out or fussy cut.  The images came from Magnolia Blooms Stamp Set and Good Morning Magnolia Stamp Set.
  4.  The Card with the phrase "You & Me" came from the Magnolia Lane Memories & More Card Pack
  5.  Picture mats are Mossy Meadow
  6.  The accessories came from Magnolia Lane Cork Embellishments, Butterfly & Heart Wood Elements, Antique Buttons and Pearl basic Jewels.

Well there you have it, can you see why Magnolia Lane Suite from Stampin' Up! is my "Favorites"  It was the perfect suite for all of my Wedding decor needs!

Thanks for stopping by!!  Oh and any constructive feedback is greatly appreciated seeing as this is my first blog hop.
