Technique/Punch Art - January 202

Do you love learning new stamping techniques??
Do you love creating with your punches???

Well, once a month I have a technique/punch art class which I would love to share here as well!

Many of my techniques come from https://www.splitcoaststampers.com.  If you haven't heard of this site, you REALLY need to go check it out.  There is so much there, you can spend days navigating their site!!

Now lets get to my January class.  Calling all quilters!!!  This is definitely a technique that would appeal to you! In this class we learned the Stack and Cut Quilt Cards.  When doing this technique it is best to make five cards at one time, so that  your "quilt" will have a pattern from each DSP (Designer Series Paper).

The technique is shown here as the background, I've even added some stitches so it really looks like a quilt. Don't you think?

OK, now onto one of my favorite things to do....PUNCH ART!!!  We invest so much money in punches that I just love to see what people create with them.  I'm sure we all basically purchase punches for their basic shapes, however, there are a ton of you that can see beyond the basic shape and create all sorts of fun things with them.  For that I am very envious...maybe one day I will too.

Any hoot, in January I thought it would be fun to make a seal.  This idea came from surfing Pinterest with punch art in the search bar.  Then I see what will work with the punches I already own.  This seal was so much fun to make and easy too!  I "borrowed" the idea from kartenparadies.blogspot.de.  All it takes is a couple of oval punches and a couple of circle punches and the five petal punch from Stampin' Up! and presto...there's a seal.

What do you think? Isn't he just the cutest!
